If I could offer one piece of advice . . . let it go. If you go over your calorie budget, you went over. Don't let it make you feel guilty or stop you from your overall vision. I have found it very liberating to intentionally adopt the 'nothing off limits' mentality, and I test it!

I am a restaurant junkie. Since I began counting my calories, I have been determined to continue to allow myself to still eat out, or pick up, but just make better choices. I also try to leave 150 calories in my budget at the end of the night for a skinny cow ice cream cone.

I know it doesn't sound healthy; however, I am losing weight, and every day I make better choices than I did previously. Look for your small victories. The fact that you are even considering your calories and trying to figure out what they are is probably more than you've done in the past? The fact that you are brave enough to write this blog is testament that you are committed.

You're doing great! I'm a new blogger too. If you'd like to stop by (http://randompiecesandthoughts.blogspot.com/), I love comments. I couldn't find a way to 'follow' your blog, but I'll try again later. You have a great blog. Trust yourself, lean on your faith and your friends.

Make it a great day!!!

AnnaleahAnnaleahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16592830651444307273noreply@blogger.com
